Deteriorating weather conditions continue to cause issues around Kansas. Several major roads in and out of Great Bend have been closed.

According to KanDrive.org, US-281 Highway is closed from two miles south of St. John to 11 miles south of Russell, including between Great Bend and Hoisington. K-96 Highway is closed between Alexander and Great Bend. US-56 Highway is closed between five miles west of Garfield and Windom. K-156 Highway is closed 21 miles west of the Holyrood area.
