What started less than a year ago as a local roadside assistance operation has quickly grown into a multi-region service business reaching communities across Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.
Dawson Holste, owner of Dawson’s Roadside Assistance, has expanded the business rapidly in its first seven months, already serving more than 1,000 customers while continuing to grow operations throughout the Midwest. The company now serves Kansas City, Mo.; Central Kansas; Wichita; Hutchinson; and surrounding communities, including Garden City, and Guide Rock, Neb.
The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce recently recognized the company’s growth and momentum with a ribbon-cutting celebration held on May 14, 2026.
Founded with a focus on dependable, affordable service, Dawson’s Roadside Assistance provides 24/7 roadside assistance including towing support, lockouts, tire changes, jump starts, fuel delivery, and other emergency roadside services. The company is fully licensed and insured and has built a reputation for customer-focused care and responsiveness.
As part of its continued expansion, the business recently added light mechanic services including alternator replacement, starter installation, radiator work, battery installation, air filter replacement, oil changes, and more. Customers provide the necessary parts while the company completes the labor.
