RUSSELL COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 9:30 a.m. Monday in Russell County.
The Russell County Sheriff reported a 2012 Ford F350 driven by Ethan Dickerson of Paradise was northbound and a 2012 Peterbilt semi driven by Barry Maupin of Lucas was southbound at 180th Street one mile south of Fairview Road when the vehicles collided.
Dickerson was pronounced deceased at the scene. A private vehicle transported Maupin from the scene. The sheriff's office released no additional details.
