
MANHATTAN, Kansas – For the third time this season, K-State freshman guard Brylee Glenn has been named Big 12 Freshman of the Week. This was Glenn's third honor of the season.
As a team, K-State has collected seven Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors this season as Serena Sundell and Brylee Glenn (three times) and Jaelyn Glenn (once) have earned the honors. Overall, K-State has received a Big 12 weekly honor 11 times this season when including Ayoka Lee's four Big 12 Player of the Week honors.
For the week, Glenn averaged 16.5 points on 56.5 percent shooting (13-of-23), including 40.0 percent from beyond the arc, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals.
At Iowa State on Wednesday, Glenn tied her career-high with 19 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, on 7-of-12 shooting. She established a new career-high with three connections from 3-point range. She also hauled in four rebounds, pocketed two steals and dished two assists.
Against Texas Tech, Glenn tallied 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting, a career-high four assists and notched two steals.
Glenn has reached double figures in three straight games, tying the longest stretch of her career. Glenn has scored in double figures in eight games this season.
For the season, Glenn is third on the team in scoring at 8.5 points per game. In league play, Glenn is averaging 8.9 points per game.
