Eusebio Levya Hernandez, 56, passed away on April 16, 2023, at Hays Medical Center, Hays. He was born on Sept. 6, 1966, in Los Alamos de san Antonio municipio Manuel Benavidez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Rosendo Leyva Hernandez and Antonia Hernandez Lujan. In 1986, he married Josefina Madrid Leyva in Mexico.
A Great Bend resident for 26 years coming from Mexico, Eusebio worked in the construction industry. He was an extremely loving man and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Christian Leyva of Great Bend; two daughters, Melisa (Juan Victor Ramirez) Leyva and Julissa Leyva, both of Great Bend; four grandchildren, Yulisa Sanchez, Rusbael Sanchez, Jose Manuel Sanchez, and Victor Angel Sanchez; his parents; and three brothers, Cosme, Guadalupe, and Bernabe Leyva.
Visitation will take place starting at noon on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Asamblea Apostolica De La Fe En Cristo Jesus, 3920 Forest Ave., Great Bend. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Asamblea Apostolica De La Fe En Cristo Jesus. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North.
