Great Bend USD 428 has announced the sale of surplus items now available to the public through the district website at www.GreatBendSchools.net. The sale includes a variety of usable equipment suitable for other school districts, local businesses, or individuals.
Currently, available items include elementary cafeteria tables with built-in seating, round center-fold tables from the Great Bend High School cafeteria, a variety of chairs, and metal shelving. Additional items may be listed on this site as they become available. Interested buyers are encouraged to check the website regularly for updates.
“These items have served our schools well over the years and still have life left in them,” said John Popp, Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations. “By offering them at a low cost, we hope they can continue to be useful for other schools, organizations, or individuals in our community.”
Each item is described to the best of the district’s knowledge regarding condition. All items are sold as is and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Terms of Sale
· Items must be paid for before pickup.
· Cash or check only — no electronic or credit card payments accepted.
· Checks should be made payable to USD 428 Great Bend Schools.
· Buyers are responsible for loading and transporting purchased items in a timely manner.
