Area youth planning to hunt in Kansas this fall are encouraged to enroll in a Hunter Education Course. Participants will complete online coursework, then attend a Field Day session to review materials, take a test and complete the in-person portion of the course. The class is limited to 21 individuals and you must be 11 years of age or older. The Field Day will be held from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday September 5th at the Great Bend Police Department Training Facility. Pre-register at www.safehunters.com.
