'Tis the season to give. On Saturday, Eagle Media handed out $20K in the Christmas Cash Giveaway. A few days before that, Holy Family first grader Willow Sigler collected the biggest check of her life as the latest winner in Eagle Media's Make a Difference contest, presented by OPI & Golden Belt Printing. As the second weekly winner in December, Willow received a giant $100 check from OPI and Golden Belt Printing.
"I can make a difference by being nice to my friends," Willow said.
All Barton County students, grades K-6, are eligible in the Make a Difference Contest, which will run for the duration of the 2025-26 school year. As a weekly winner, Willow and her teacher, Mrs. Davis, are now eligible for the monthly prize. That lucky student will win another $100 and a book bag full of goodies from other contest sponsors, and his or her teacher will also receive $100.
The Make a Difference contest, presented by OPI & Golden Belt Printing, is sponsored in part by Big Ben Custom Engraving, Freedom Claims Management, Great Bend Redi Mix, Francis Financial, Medical Park Pharmacy, R&R Roofing, Allstaff Chartered, Miller Plastics, Rosencrantz Bemis Water Well Service, Great Bend Rec, Jimlo Glass Center, Haz Mat Response, & Scooter's Coffee.
