ELLSWORTH COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Monday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Chevy Silverado driven by Travis Dean Barleen, 40, Salina, was eastbound on Interstate 70 one half mile east of Kansas 232 in the passing lane. The pickup then moved to the driving lane and rear-ended a 2020 Freightliner semi driven by Cody Micheal Stephenson, 36, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
EMS transported both drivers to the Ellsworth County Medical Center. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
