STAFFORD COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Tuesday in Stafford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Toyota Corolla driven by Aurelia Hinojos, 39, Garden City, was eastbound on U.S. 50 at NW 110th Avenue.
The car struck a southbound 2011 International Feed Truck driven by Albino G. Acosta, 58, Macksville, who failed to yield to traffic after stopping at the intersection.
EMS transported Hinojos and a passenger in the Toyota identified as Victor Mendoza Aparicio, 40, Garden City, to the Stafford County Hospital. Acosta was not injured. The driver and adult passenger of the Toyota were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP. Three juveniles were present in the Toyota; juvenile record protected data.
