KIOWA COUNTY –One person was injured in an accident jusdt before 11:30a.m. Mondah in Kiowa County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by Sheldon James Wadel, 66, Haviland, was stopped at the stop sign on County Road H at 45th facing east. The pickup entered the intersection. A southbound 2020 GMC Savanna driven by Omar Cuevas Rosales, 28, Dodge City, struck the pickup.
EMS transported Rosales to the Kiowa County Hospital. Wadel was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
