Lawrence Wayne “Butch” Jackson, 77, passed away on November 5, 2021, at home in Great Bend, Kansas.

He was born July 22, 1944 at West, Texas to Oliver Glenn &amp; Frances Lucille (Colgin) Jackson. He married Mary Graves on January 6, 1984 at Great Bend, Kansas.

Mr. Jackson was a Great Bend, Kansas resident. He worked for Cessna in his younger years, Godsey Ehrlacher, and American Energies for 20 years, retiring from the role of production superintendent in 2014. He also worked in various other companies in the same capacity.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jackson, of the home; a son, Miles Jackson, of Great Bend; two daughters, Kristin (Andrew) Harris of Wichita, Jenny (Sean) Hughes of Hutchinson; one brother, Dennis (Diane) Jackson of Ellinwood; two grandchildren, Dakota Hughes, Brady Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild, Wyatt Hughes.

No visitation will take place as cremation has occurred. Memorial service is pending for a later date with Bryant Funeral Home.
