United Way honors top pacesetter companies for contributions

United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) recognizes the top 15 Pacesetter Companies for their contributions during the 2024 Workplace Campaigns. Through commitment and exceptional philanthropy, these companies collectively raised $95,000, accounting for 42% of UWCK's total campaign funds for the year.

This achievement was made possible through the generosity of employees, the commitment of corporate teams and sponsorships. The following businesses have been honored for their exemplary contributions:

In addition to recognizing United Way's top contributors, UWCK also recognizes the top three businesses per capita. These businesses have demonstrated exceptional participation rates and spirit within their teams.

- Gold Per Capita (for the seventh year in a row): Spectrum CPA Partners, LLC
- Silver Per Capita: First Kansas Bank
- Bronze Per Capita: Adams Brown

Additionally, UWCK recognizes USD 355-Ellinwood for showcasing the highest percentage increase in giving over the prior year, highlighting their ongoing partnership and support of UWCK initiatives.

Special Recognitions:

- Business Leadership Award: Sunflower Bank, for their remarkable leadership, commitment, and significant contributions to the cause.

- Individual Leadership Awards: Carol Dema and Mark & Leslie Mingenback, for their outstanding dedication and instrumental contributions to the success of UWCK.
