At a special meeting held on Tuesday, April 22, the USD 350 St. John Board of Education accepted the resignation of Superintendent Josh Meyer effective June 30. Meyer accepted a position as the superintendent at Wamego USD 320 starting on July 1.
The board entered into an agreement with the Kansas Association of School Boards to assist in the search for a new superintendent.
Applications will be accepted until May 7, screening will follow the next week with an anticipated hiring date in May. The term of the contract and salary will be negotiated based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and personal/professional qualifications.
