Great Bend Economic Development (GBED), proud partner of Advancing Barton County Childcare (ABCC), invites the public to their daycare center groundbreaking Thursday, July 20 at 10 a.m. at Farmer’s Plaza, on the corner of 10th Street and K-96 Highway.
Advancing Barton County Childcare, established by Great Bend Economic Development, has taken on the task of securing funding and constructing a state-of-the-art group daycare center in Great Bend. Recognizing the need for reliable and accessible childcare services, this 6,500-square-foot facility is the first of several daycares to be built across Barton County.
The groundbreaking ceremony is celebrating the physical beginning of the project as well as celebrating that this project is now fully funded, thanks to a substantial grant from the State. Funding partners, contractors, architects, board members and legislators will be on hand for remarks about the project. ABCC plans to unveil developments surrounding their endeavor.
