Keandre Kindell of the Barton Community College men's basketball team has been named the KJCCC Week 11 Player of the Week.

Kindell averaged over 27 points and 64% shooting leading the Cougars to a pair of victories to earn his first conference weekly award and the team's fourth straight KJCCC honor following fellow sophomore Brent Moss' two consecutive and freshman James Parlow, Jr.'s week eight.

Scoring seven points before being saddled with first-half foul trouble Wednesday at Hutchinson, Kindell provided a strong second-half performance by adding 17 points for a new career high 26 points on 8-of-12 shooting, 7-of-8 from the free throw line, and dished out a game-high five assists with a pair of steals in the upset win over the then-23rd ranked Blue Dragons.

This past Saturday the native of Cincinnati, Ohio, re-set his career high by pouring in 31 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field and a perfect 10-of-10 at the line in taking over the conference's top percentage at the charity stripe leading the Cougars to victory over Garden City.

The performances have helped the Cougars win three straight, improving 10-4 in KJCCC play and 16-4 overall heading into tonight's 7:30 p.m. tip hosting Cloud County.

Kindell's honor becomes the 5th overall for the squad this season, Moss accumulating three total on the year with Parlow garnering the other.
