3. Compost site dumping ordinance
The recent illegal dumping event at the compost site resulted in the discovery that the Great Bend Code contains two sections prohibiting illegal dumping at the compost site but with different penalties attached. A motion will be presented to adopt an ordinance repealing the code provision with obsolete language.
4. Duties of the City Administrator and Assistant City Administrator
With the change in administration, the Assistant City Administrator is now open. The may and current administration have requested to draft an ordinance defining the duties more generally and broadly allowing for them to be assigned and reassigned to meet the current needs. A motion will be presented to adopt an ordinance to amend the qualifications and duties of the City Administrator and Assistant City Administrator.
5. Great Bend Motopark agreement
James Baldwin and LaRyssa Baldwin, who operate the Kansas Motocross Championship Series, wish to enter into an operating agreement for the Great Bend Motopark located at the Expo Area of the Great Bend Municipal Airport. A motion will be presented to approve the operating agreement with Kansas Motocross Championship Series.
