
On Tuesday, Feb. 6 at approximately 2:02 a.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 900 block of Farmer's Plaza Ln. for a moving infraction. Officer's asked for consent to search the vehicle and the driver granted permission and told officers there were drugs in the vehicle.
While searching the vehicle, Officers located a white crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Maddison Crawford, age 25, was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Crawford was transported to the Barton County Jail and booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no tax stamp and illegal window tint. Crawford is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
