The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Defensive Living” on Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 12 – 1 pm at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street).
This program is designed to meet the needs of females in respect to awareness and self-protection. Principles and strategies for effectively reducing the likelihood of assaults will be examined during the program, along with a lot of other topics. Ofc. Mooney and Cpl. Bell from the GB Police Department will be the speakers for the program.
