It's become an annual holiday tradition around Great Bend, and the Christmas Craft Mall is open for another season. The mall returns to the basement of the Central Baptist Church on Lakin Avenue in Great Bend, and Shari Miller with the mall says this year, there are crafts from approximately 40 vendors.
"We still have a large amount of vendors and selections," she said. "Our hours are still the same, seven days a week. We're open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays 1-6 p.m., and we are closed Thanksgiving. We've got great crafters with wonderful items that are the perfect gift for Christmas."
The mall offers a variety of unique edible and decorative items, crafted by local artists. Fudges and jellies are always popular gifts, as are sweatshirts and candles. The mall also features metalwork, trees, ornaments, jewelry, bierocks, nuts, and hot cocoa bombs, among other items.
The Christmas Craft Mall opened Nov. 19 and will remain open through Dec. 23. Central Baptist Church is located at 3301 Lakin Avenue in Great Bend.
