The GPS Kids Club is hosting their golf tournament on Friday, April 25 at Lake Barton Golf Course, on US 281 Highway.

GPS Kids Club, in Hoisington, provides supervised care for children in grades kindergarten through 6th during after school and summer hours. GPS Board member Alicia Boor said the golf tournament will assist with upcoming expenses.

"We hope this golf tournament, this year and in future years, will be our biggest fundraiser," said Boor. "This will help fund the summer programs GPS has. That's when a lot of kids start showing up and they do fun things with the children. That all takes money. This will help fund a lot of their summer extracurricular activities."

The tournament begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start. There are 36 team spots available for the four-person scramble, costing $100 per person with a lunch included. Individuals and teams must be registered by Monday, April 21.
