The Golden Belt Community Concert Association will celebrate the Beatles with “Here Comes the Sun,” a fresh, vibrant and musically-authentic act that gets audiences rising to their feet. The concert is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Great Bend Municipal Auditorium, Lakin and Stone.

This GBCCA event is open to association members. No single concert tickets are available. The concert association has reached its seating capacity for members and will not be accepting additional memberships until its spring 2024 membership campaign.

Presenting “Here Comes the Sun” are five musicians who are vocalists and play multiple instruments. Varied performing experiences among them include Broadway and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They combine their talents to recreate a decade of the Beatles’ popular hits and some of their better-known B-sides. Foregoing costumes and wigs to focus on the music, this group draws the admiration of true Beatles fans with its vocal perfection and instrumental artistry.

Eric Anthony on bass, guitar and vocals, has played guitar and bass for 40 years, strumming in Debbie Gibson’s band in the Caribbean and singing backup for Barry Manilow. He spent two decades in the world of “guitar theatre” including the original Broadway cast of “Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash” and music directing on the national tour of “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story.”

Dustin Brayley on piano, keys, guitar and vocals has toured the world with Broadway shows, symphonies, and is currently with the multi-platinum-selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra as a lead singer and guitar player. He recently played on Broadway in “Rocktopia!”

Ryan Dunn, actor turned musician/songwriter playing guitar, bass and keys, grew up singing on boardwalks along the Jersey shore. His New York Theatre credits include “Camelot” with the New York Philharmonic and live on PBS at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.

Ryan Guerra has spent the past decade touring with bands, playing in pit orchestras and music-directing tribute shows. He directed and performed as Buddy in “The Buddy Holly Story,” played lead guitar and was music director of “Rock of Ages,” and sang as Frank Sinatra in “Rat Pack Lounge.”

Jackson Price is a studio session musician now living in Nashville, TN. At the age of 13, he performed the Beatles’ song “Blackbird” for his eighth-grade graduation, bringing tears to many in his audience. He is now a regular performer on “Nashville’s Broadway,” has had his songs featured in Super Bowl commercials, and has co-produced an iTunes/Billboard top 10 Album.

Drummer James Kylen, based in Asheville, NC, is known for his expertise in multiple instruments and ability to compose across genres. He has shared the stage with music icons including Ray Charles, Greg Ginn (Black Flag) and REO Speedwagon. He also teaches multiple instruments to students of all ages.
