Smoky Hills PBS is proud to continue its tradition of bringing local sports to viewers across Kansas this Thanksgiving season!

On Thanksgiving Day, tune in for a special broadcast of the 2025 Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, celebrating the accomplishments of legendary Kansas athletes and coaches. It all starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27.

Then, on Nov. 28 and 29, Smoky Hills PBS will be live from Gowan Stadium in Hutchinson.  Watch the top teams of 1A, 2A & 3A high school football teams from across Kansas compete in the KSHSAA State Football Championships Games. Jeremy McGuire and Larry Jantz provide commentary as we find out who will win the KSHSAA State Football Championships.

The action continues in December. On Saturday, Dec. 6, and Sunday, Dec. 7, Smoky Hills PBS will broadcast the 8-Player Division I, Division II, and 6-Player State Football Championship Games that will be played in Greensburg on Nov. 29.

These broadcasts are made possible thanks to the generous support of viewers like you. Your donations help Smoky Hills PBS continue to share local stories and sports that matter to our communities.
