Colin Saff singled home Eli Soupiset in the ninth inning Wednesday to&nbsp; give the Great Bend Braves a 1-0 extra inning victory over the Kansas Senator,s at the Class-A State American Legion Baseball Tournament in El Dorado.

Two extra innings would be needed to decide this one. 

Slade Moore was outstanding for the Braves as he pitched 8-innings, allowing only 3-hits and striking out 2. Jaxon Wondra pitched a scoreless ninth to secure the victory.

Great Bend advances to Thursday second round play as they meet Pittsburg in the winner's bracket semi-finals at 10:30 a.m. Pittsburg defeated Ottawa 4-0 in their first round matchup.
