Lewis – Janet Lorene Crockett, 87, passed away August 24, 2021 at Grand Plains Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Pratt.
She was born October 9, 1933 in Coats, KS the daughter of Cecil Orland and Letha Pearl Hicks Fisher.
A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, both of Lewis.
On August 9, 1953 she married Floyd Crockett in Kinsley; he survives.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Brenda (John) Roenbaugh, Lewis, Candi (Bruce) Russell, Stillwater, OK, Shala (John) Kosir, Edmond; eight grandchildren, Brandon Roenbaugh, Tawnya Roenbaugh, Daniel Russell, Dax Russell, Drew Russell, Shane Pritchett, Marissa Kosir, Lily Kosir; and three great grandchildren, Aiden Roenbaugh, Carson Roenbaugh, Avery Roenbaugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Lewis United Methodist Church with Pastor Melissa Naylor and Pastor Bill Stapleton presiding. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in Fellsburg Cemetery, Fellsburg.
