Such items will be referred to the appropriate administrator(s) for future information and researched and reported back to the Board at a later meeting. Personalities and behavior of employees are not to be presented during this period but are to be reported to the employee’s immediate supervisor. The president shall determine the amount of time to be spent on citizen participation.

Lincoln Elementary Principal Misty Straub will present information and share data regarding the Interim Testing of Lincoln Elementary School students.

4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Fleet Management Discussion
At the January meeting, board members discussed a strategy to provide district fleet vehicles, particularly those used for student transport. The Board will further discuss this topic.
B. District Goals
In November, a Goal Setting session led by a KASB representative provided interactive guidance for board members to set new district goals relevant to USD 428. Mr. Thexton has gathered additional board feedback and will present a draft of goals for consideration.
5. NEW BUSINESS
A. Approval of GBMS Course Electives
The GBMS Scheduling committee will provide information regarding five new course electives for middle school students for the 2023-2024 school year. The Administration recommends approval of the proposed courses at this meeting in time for the upcoming school year enrollment.
B. Approval of PCA Purchasing Cooperative
PCA Purchasing Cooperative provides educational institutions access to vendors with pricing based on national volume levels at no charge to the district. PCA meets all state bid laws and state procurement requirements. The administration recommends approval of this membership.
C. Approval of Boiler conversion proposal
The Board will review a proposal from Innovative Groups, LLC, for design and engineering services to remove the 24-year-old boiler system and convert and install four HVAC RTU replacement systems at Lincoln Elementary. The Administration recommends approval of this project.
D. Approval of HVAC Systems
The district has received a procurement quote for four (4) rooftop units to replace the 24-year-old boiler unit at Lincoln Elementary to heat the library and two classrooms. The Administration requests approval to purchase these units from Comfort Products for $28,000.
E. Approval of Wrestling Mat Bid Release
The East Campus northeast building has been converted into a practice wrestling room for GBHS wrestlers. The Administration recommends approval to release bid specifications for approximately 372 linear feet of manufactured wall mats. Furthermore, the Kid’s Wrestling Club athletes also use this room and wish to provide floor mats for the room.
6. ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT / CURRICULUM REPORT
A. Winter Data Review
Fastbridge data compares current-year student scores to previous years to examine the pandemic impact on student achievement and grade-level progress. Mrs. Reiser will provide the fall and winter benchmark data at this meeting.
B. Secondary Math Adoption/Pilot
7-12 Math Curriculum adoption is proceeding, and the suggested math pilot resources will be presented to the BOE in March.

11. UPCOMING DATES
· No School: Friday, February 24 is a NO SCHOOL day, and an early dismissal February 23.
· BOE Luncheon Meeting: February 28, 2023, GB Middle School
· BOE Regular Meeting: The next BOE regular monthly meeting is scheduled for March 6, 2023, at the District Education Center. (one week earlier due to Spring Break)
· Spring Break: USD 428 will observe Spring Break March 13-17, 2023. There will also be No School on Friday, March 10, for Teacher Grading/Collaboration.
· IBB Negotiation Meeting: 8:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 27, 2023, at the District Education Center.
