
On Friday, March 24 at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers from the Great Bend Police Department responded to 2501 Cheyenne Dr. in Great Bend in reference to the execution of a search warrant stemming from an ongoing investigation involving distribution of methamphetamine.
Upon arrival, police apprehended four individuals inside the house identified as Michael Hurd, age 45; Charles Rowe Sr., age 57; Christopher Buckley, age 41 and Mary Lovesee, age 47.
During a search of the residence, detectives located methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and evidence of distribution. Hurd was arrested on a Barton County felony warrant for probation violation. Hurd was also booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of distribution of methamphetamine within 1000' of a school, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. Hurd was booked in lieu of $300,000 cash surety bonds.

Rowe Sr. was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. Rowe Sr. was booked in lieu of $10,000 cash surety bond.

Buckley was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and no drug tax stamp. Buckley was booked in lieu of $10,000 cash surety bond.

Lovesee was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana, and no drug tax stamp. Lovesee was booked in lieu of $2,500 cash surety bond.
