The Barton County Commission will host a National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor town hall meeting beginning at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20, now relocated to the Crest Theater, 1905 Lakin in Great Bend.
This open forum meeting is planned as a way for local governmental agencies, as well as the public, to discuss the designation process, route boundaries and coordinated response efforts.
