The Barton County Historical Society will have its volunteer orientation on Thursday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the museum campus south of the river bridge on Highway 281.
Anyone in Barton County who is interested in information about volunteer service and activities at the museum should stop in or call to find out more. The meeting will feature a short orientation, information on duties and responsibilities as well as basic museum policies. We will provide refreshments to those who attend.
Please feel free to attend the orientation without obligation. Interested parties can also call the Barton County Historical Society at 793-5125 or Volunteer Coordinator, Karen Naylor, at 793-6394. Summer hours begin Tuesday, April 11 and continue until November. The hours during summer are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
