From the city of Russell
As recovery efforts continue, city crews will be working to clean up storm debris from City Parks and properties throughout the week. For members of the community who suffered tree limb damage, we will be offering tree limb pick-up. Please have your limbs curbside by 7 a.m. this Thursday morning.
Crews will begin pickup promptly at 7 a.m. Thursday. If limbs are not out by Thursday morning, pickup will not be provided. Limb removal will be the responsibility of the residents.
We have opened a city tree pile location for those customers who are able and willing to manage their own storm debris. Tree limbs may be dropped off 24/7, 7 days a week, at 186th and Homer Road, approximately one mile south of the City Cemetery. A gravel entry has been provided to the location. We appreciate the community’s cooperation as we work together to recover from this weekend’s storm.
Please call the City of Russell office at 785-483-6311 with any questions.
