Ryan Andrew Hamby, age 32, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 at Kansas Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan. He was born on Nov. 14, 1987 and was the son of Chuck Hamby and Machelle (O’Neal) Raya.
Survivors include his parents Chuck (Rhonda) Hamby and Machelle (Adrian) Raya; grandparents Mike, Diann O’Neal and Nancy Hamby; two sisters Sharr Hamby Diehl, Rachel (Jesus) Franco; step-sister Erika Raya; along with nieces and nephews, Ashlynn Hamby Raya, Cayden Scheurman, Noah Diehl, Jayston Hamby - Allison, Leiana, Jenaveve, Emeteria Franco; and great nephew Easton Whetham. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Babe Hamby.
Ryan had a heart of gold and took pride in his work in the oil field. He enjoyed fishing and driving anything that had a motor. Ryan could make anyone laugh with his sarcasm or telling a quick wit joke. He was also very gifted in sports. He loved spending time with his family especially nieces/ nephews, he touched many lives, and will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be scheduled at a later date.
