Last year, the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce spent a lot of time
familiarizing chamber members and businesses about the new Association Health
Plan, Chamber Blue of Kansas.
Chamber Blue is a health plan that allows for employers to join together across
the state. The larger pool of people enrolled in the plan allows the
possibility of more plan options, and possibly lower costs, for small
businesses or entrepreneurs.
Chamber Blue plans went live Jan. 1, 2023. Great Bend Chamber President Megan Barfieldsaid there are
just under 140 policies in the Great Bend area for the health plan.
