From the Great Bend Rec
This Giving Tuesday, the Great Bend Recreation Commission Foundation invites the community to come together in support of the places and programs that keep Great Bend active, connected, and thriving. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the GBRC Foundation helps fund improvements, enhancements, and opportunities that ensure recreation remains a vital part of our community for generations to come.
Your Giving Tuesday donation can be earmarked to make a difference where it matters most:
· Golf Course Improvements: Help enhance the playing experience and facilities that golfers of all ages enjoy.
· Pickleball Court Projects: Support the growing popularity of one of Great Bend’s most social and active recreation opportunities.
· Recreation Programs, Centers & Outdoor Spaces: Ensure that our programs, parks, and centers continue to inspire, engage, and serve everyone in our community.
“Every gift, no matter the size, helps us build a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Great Bend,” said Randy Goering, Foundation President. “Your generosity on Giving Tuesday helps us maintain and expand recreational opportunities that make Great Bend a great place to live, play, and grow.”
Donations can be made directly to the Great Bend Recreation Commission Foundation at Golden Belt Community Foundation. There are three easy ways to give: online at goldenbeltcf.org; by mail at GBCF, P.O. Box 1911; or in person at 1307 Williams St. Contributions are tax-deductible, and 100% of your donation stays local to support recreation right here in Great Bend.
Join us this Giving Tuesday—December 2, 2025—to give back to play, community, and the spaces that bring us together.
