
On Nov. 4, at approximately 9 p.m., officers with the Great Bend Police Department were dispatched to the area of the 2400 Block of Dike Road, Great Bend, in reference to an unknown disturbance. Upon the officer’s arrival, they contacted a male victim with a large cut on his forehead. The victim stated that he had been at the river near the North Main bridge when he got into an argument with Tiara Mills-Dotson, 30. The victim stated that during the argument, Mills-Dotson charged at him and struck him in the head with an unknown object.
While speaking with a witness, it was determined that the object used was a butcher knife, which was located and recovered at the scene. Mills-Dotson was transported and booked into the Barton County jail for the charges of Aggravated Battery and for Aggravated Assault (DV) in lieu of bond.
