The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Move Your Mountain Coaching and Consultation, invites community leaders to attend a special May session of The Leader’s Lunchroom, a monthly leadership series designed to spark growth, connection, and meaningful action.
The May gathering will take place on Tuesday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Great Bend Chamber Boardroom, located at 1125 Williams, Great Bend.
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo and National Small Business Week, this extended session will offer a festive and engaging atmosphere, with lunch provided for the first 25 attendees. Additional attendees are welcome to join; however, food is not guaranteed beyond the first 25 participants.
This month’s topic, “Leading Through Curiosity: The Power of Asking Better Questions,” challenges the traditional idea that leaders must always have the answers. Instead, this session will explore how curiosity can transform conversations, build ownership within teams, and improve outcomes. Attendees will reflect on how asking better questions can reduce dependency and empower others to step forward.
A featured coaching question for the session asks: “Where could curiosity create more ownership and less dependence on you?”
The session will be led by Kimberly Becker, CEO of Move Your Mountain Coaching, alongside Megan Barfield, President of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce, offering attendees a dynamic and engaging experience focused on practical leadership growth.
The session includes a leadership takeaway, guided discussion, and networking Cinco de Mayo-themed celebration during National Small Business Week Lunch provided for the first 25 attendees
