Michael Allen Symns, 41, of Saratoga, Wyoming, died February 22, 2021, at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born November 14, 1979, in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Robert Allen and Regina L. (Cade) Symns.
Michael lived in Goddard and Hays, Kansas as a child and attended Hays High School. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 800 of Bar Nunn, Wyoming and enjoyed operating heavy equipment as a career. He recently worked on the Chokecherry and Sierra Madre Wind Energy project located near Sinclair and Rawlins in Carbon County, Wyoming. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was most at home in the great outdoors of both Kansas and Wyoming.
He is survived by: his daughter, Sage Marie Symns of Texas; mother, Regina Cade (Bradley Stiggins), Partridge, Kansas; his father, Robert (Sabrina) Symns, Saratoga, Wyoming; brother, Lloyd Symns, Partridge, Kansas; grandmother, Marilyn Cade, Abbyville, Kansas; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs J.C. Symns and George William (Bill) Cade.
Celebration of Life Services are planned for later this year in both Wyoming and Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either the National MS Society or a charity of your choice.
