Larned - Micaela (Mickey) A. Perez, 86, passed away October 3, 2020 at The University of Kansas Heath Systems, Pawnee Valley Campus, Larned.
She was born January 22, 1934 in Dodge City, Kansas; the daughter of Domingo and Angela Espinoza Gonzales. A longtime resident of Larned; she was a CNA at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Larned.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary, both of Larned.
On December 2, 1962 she married Janero J. Perez in Dodge City. He passed away June 10, 1982.
Survivors include; two sons, Tim, Hutchinson and Troy, Jetmore; a daughter, Gina Perez, Larned; three brothers, Pete Gonzales, Albert (Pino) Gonzales, both of Dodge City, Julian Gonzales, Wichita; six grandchildren, Angela Pounds, Adam Perez, Deavin Perez, Sydney Perez, Bryce Perez and Taylor Grover and four great grandchildren, Serenity Perez, Cayden Shaver, Hagen Kennon and Kobin Kennon.
She was preceded in death by; a son, Rick Perez, four brothers, Frank Gonzales, Lenard Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales and Edward (Lalo) Gonzales and four sisters, Frances Ontverberos, Esther Ontieboros, Angelita Gonzales and Rene Gonzales.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Vigil service and rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary chapel, Larned. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Cremation will follow the service and Inurnment in the Larned Cemetery will be at a later date.
