Burdett - Eloise M. Reece, 91, passed away November 19, 2020 at Medicalodge of Kinsley.
She was born July 30, 1929 in Larned; the daughter of Willard and Minnie Showalter Branine. A lifetime area resident; she was a farm wife and homemaker.
She was a member of the Burdett United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Burdett Senior Center.
On January 15, 1950 she married Ernest Eugene Reece at Larned, Kansas. He passed away July 20, 2007.
Survivors include; two sons, Dennis (Sue) Reece, Wichita, Les Reece, Burdett; a daughter, Karen (Cedric) Hands, Garden City; five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest.
Due to covid, a private family service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary with Rev. Mitch Reece presiding. Service will be viewable via facebook live at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. A public graveside will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020 at Brown’s Grove Cemetery, Burdett.
