The Barton Community College cross country teams concluded their 2025 season Friday morning at the KJCCC/Region VI Championships held at Colby's Meadow Lakes Golf Course.
Sophomore Makiya Mosley represented the Cougars in the women's 5K race, finishing 62nd overall with a time of 33:37.30.
In the men's 8K competition, Barton placed 12th overall, led by freshman Sergi Gonzalez Garriga's 63rd-place effort of 29:40.08.
Simeon Adams recorded a personal best of 31:08.23 to finish 74th, while sophomore Corlando Chambers followed close behind in 78th at 31:33.68.
Rounding out the Barton lineup, freshman Shavan Jarrett crossed in 86th at 33:06.86, just ahead of sophomores Keandro Gordon (88th, 33:29.97) and Jack Cole (89th, 33:32.95), with the trio finishing within twenty-six seconds of each other.
