The Barton County Sheriff's Office now accepts worn or damaged U.S.  and Kansas State flags for proper disposal.  If you have flags that need to be retired, please feel free to drop them off at the Sheriff's Office administrative building at 1416 Kansas Avenue in Great Bend during regular business hours. There is no charge for the service.
