The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Remembering Carl Soden” on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Great Bend Rec Activity Center (2715 18th Street).
Carl Soden served as the first Great Bend Recreation Director for 31 years. He also had an amazing navy career serving on Admiral Nimitz’s Staff during World War II. Join us and learn about his experiences drawn from conversations and his oral history. Linda McCaffery will be the speaker for the program.
