From the City of Great Bend...
The City of Great Bend would like to announce we will be burning our tree pile at the Compost Site today. Work plans to start today and there is a potential to be burning tomorrow as well, we are taking advantage of the current wind conditions.
The burn area will be monitored by city staff 24 hours a day.
The City of Great Bend appreciates the patience of the public while this work is performed, it is likely if the wind is right that you might smell or see the smoke. Please contact Tony Bronson, Street Department Supervisor at 620.793.4150 regarding this project.
