Stanley R. Haynes, 90, passed away October 29, 2021 at Country Living of Larned.

He was born February 2, 1931 in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Frank and Helen Blanton Haynes.

A longtime area resident, he was an electrical contractor and the founder of Haynes Electric, Larned where he was currently serving on the Board of Directors. He was a member of the Frist Presbyterian Church, Building and Trade Board, and the Country Club, all of Larned.

On September 5, 1948 he married Norma J. Snavely at St. Paul Minnesota; she preceded him in death on December 6, 2013.

Survivors include four sons, Kenneth S. (Patricia) Haynes, Media, PA, Bradley R. (Jeanine) Haynes, West Field, IN, Keith R. Haynes, and Jim S. (Suzan) Haynes, both of Larned; daughter, Cynthia A. Claussen, Springdale, AR; twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Gene Haynes; a sister, Phyllis Bethel; and son-in-law Ron Claussen.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 8th, at the First Presbyterian Church, Larned with Pastor Bill Stapleton presiding. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned.
