The Great Bend City Council will see an agenda item for the Feb. 6 meeting to accept the resignation of Fire Chief Luke McCormick.
The first agenda item states McCormick resigned, and a recommendation is to approve the resignation as submitted.
McCormick was appointed fire chief in September 2017 following the retirement
of Mike Napolitano. McCormick has been with the Fire Department since 1996. He
started as a firefighter and was promoted to captain in 2008.
The City Council meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on Monday,
Feb. 6.
