Great Bend Post
The Great Bend boys moved to 12-8 overall with a 64-57 win at Dodge City Friday night. At 5-1 in the Western Athletic Conference, the Panthers are still in the hunt for a conference title with a home game against Liberal on Monday, and the big finale against WAC-leading Hays next Friday.
But perhaps the bigger news out of Friday's game was a record-setting night from Jacob Hall. The senior scored 43 points, breaking the previous single-game scoring record at GBHS, set by Anthony Guliford in the 1990-1991 season.
