The gong was rolled out one final time for the Lady Panther wrestlers Tuesday night at home. And it was worth it early on against McPherson. The first four Great Bend wrestlers pinned their opponents to lead the team to a 57-12 win against the Bullpups.

Action was light Tuesday at GBHS with no junior varsity matches and the first four matches on the varsity side going uncontested. Freshman Kaylea McMullen picked up the first win at 120 pounds, pinning her opponent in the second period for an 18-6 Great Bend lead. Third-ranked Daizy Gomez followed with a 71-second pin at 125 pounds, and Sierra Ferguson needed just 33 seconds for the win at 130 pounds. Katie Kuhlman capped the run with a pin at 135 pounds to put Great Bend ahead  36-6.
