Lena Faye Pack earned her wings on the 25th of February, 2023. She was born to James and Loutisha (McKinster) Moore in Louisa, Kentucky on March 5, 1930.
She was a midwife and had worked at Federal Glass Company in her younger years. Lena married Willis Pack and they raised eight children on the farm. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, being thrilled to see “her boys” win another Super Bowl. Lena loved being needed, and now, the Lord has her where she is eternally welcomed: in heaven.
Lena is survived by her eight children, Lonnie (Patricia) Pack, Becky Armentrout, Marcia (Steve) Crawford, Sheila Buskirk, Michael Pack, Paul (Tia) Pack, Bart (Christine) Moore, and Bret Moore; her brother, Greg (Terry) Moore; sisters Barbara Cossin and Betty Chalmers; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four step grandkids; eleven step great grandkids; and her kitty, Simba. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lucian “Bud”, Earl, and James (Jr.) Moore; sisters, Beatrice Kuhninhof, Mary Brunfield, and Delphine Drum; grandsons, Eric Douglas Moore and Chad Pack; son-in-law, Gary Buskirk; daughter-in-law, Donna Moore.
Per Lena’s wishes, all services will be private. As a breast cancer survivor, in lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated in her name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
