From the Kansas Wetlands Education Center...
Calling all 3-5 year olds. School is back in session and so is our Turtle Tots program. Many of our past participants are now in kindergarten, so we are looking for a new crew of preschoolers ready to learn about the outdoors.
Turtle Tots is a monthly program for youth ages 3-5 attending with their caregiver. This one-hour program is offered at no charge. Upcoming dates: Sept. 13, Oct. 4 and Nov. 22 at 10am.
Sept. 13 - Butterflies, Beetles, and Bees, Oh My!
We'll go exploring for pollinators, examine the butterfly lifecycle, read a story, and make a craft. We always try to go outside for a portion of the program as weather permits.
