Just over a year has passed since the Wendy's Restaurant in Great Bend closed for a remodel. On Wednesday, June 14, the grand opening of a completely new store will take place, opening at 10:30 a.m.

Wendy's announced the store, at 3519 10th Street, would be closed June 4, 2022. Demolition of the restaurant took place last August and construction on the new store began this past January.
