K-State’s Ayoka Lee earned her fourth Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor after her NCAA-record 61-point outburst against No. 14 Oklahoma. The Wildcats’ Jaelyn Glenn captured her first Big 12 Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week honor, giving K-State its second sweep of Big 12 weekly honors this season, as voted on by a five-person media panel.

Lee set a Division I single-game scoring mark against Oklahoma, and broke the Big 12 single-game scoring mark by 11 points. She was extremely efficient from the field, making a Conference record 23 field goals on just 30 attempts (76.7) and is the only player in Division I to shoot over 75.0% from the field on 26-or-more attempts since 2009-10. The Byron, Minnesota native scored 25 points with 15 rebounds in the Wildcats’ 69-61 win over Kansas Wednesday. For the week, Lee averaged 43.0 points, a Big 12 record for a single week, and 13.5 rebounds, to go along with 66.0% shooting from the field.

Jaelyn Glenn was a key component to the Wildcats’ 2-0 week, which pushed the team into a three-way tie atop the Big 12 standings. Glenn scored 10 points in K-State’s 69-61 win over Kansas on Wednesday, then filled the stat sheet with nine points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and five steals in the 94-65 win over Oklahoma. For the week, Glenn averaged 9.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.5 steals. She earns her first weekly honor from the Big 12, and is the third different Kansas State player to win the award this season. Her sister and teammate, Brylee Glenn, was selected as Freshman of the Week twice this season, as the pair becomes the first sisters in Big 12 history to both earn Freshman of the Week honors.
